About Schnitzer: Schnitzer was founded in 1968 by the dentist Dr. Schnitzer, who made the wholefood philosophy accessible to large parts of the population through literature and products. Already since 1996 Schnitzer offers durable organic bakery products; at first exclusively wholefood. In 2002, the first expansion took place: A separate gluten-free organic production facility was put into operation. The second expansion took place in 2014/2015. A new production facility was built and put into operation at the end of 2015. Since then, 70 different gluten-free recipes developed in-house have been produced there on a total of 7,000 square meters - with IFS Food (Higher Level) certification.
